Eco- friendly measures adopted

The pearl city of India, Hyderabad, lulled in the endearing glory of the past heritage houses the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standardised centralised kitchen of Akshaya Patra. The kitchen was established in 2008 and inaugurated by Damodhar Raja Narasimha, Deputy Chief Minister. The extended kitchen with the new section and cold room was inaugurated on 12 August, 2015 by Prof. V.S. Rao, Director BITS Pilani, Hyderabad. 

Each day the kitchen serves fresh, hot, nutritious mid-day meals to over 70,000 children in Hyderabad.
