Eco- friendly measures adopted

Nagpur, the third largest city of the Indian state of Maharashtra houses the 5S and GMP standardised, centralised kitchen of The Akshaya Patra Foundation. The kitchen was established on 20 August 2016 and was inaugurated by the Honourable Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis.  The event was graced by Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Nagpur Guardian Minister; Praveen Datke, Mayor of Nagpur; Satish Vitthalrao Hole, Deputy Mayor of Nagpur; and Vandana Tilak, Guardian Donor of Akshaya Patra. The kitchen stands in a radius of 3519.828 sq. ft.
